Terms & Conditions
Last updated · July 5, 2026
These are the terms for using CaF. They are short on purpose. By creating an account you agree to them.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.
- One account per person.
- You must be at least 13 to use CaF. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian has reviewed these terms and gives you permission to use the service.
Your content
- The photos and notes you log are yours. You own them.
- You grant CaF a limited license to store, process, and display them — back to you, and to the friends you add, so the journal and social features work.
- We do not claim, sell, or use your content for advertising, and we never make it public.
Friends & community
- When you add friends, they can see the entries, profile, and cafes you share. Add only people you are comfortable sharing with.
- Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Do not post content that is objectionable, abusive, harassing, hateful, threatening, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise illegal, and do not harass, abuse, or impersonate other users. There is no tolerance for any of this.
- You can report any content and block any user directly in the app. Blocking removes that user and their content from your experience immediately. We review every report and remove objectionable content and terminate the accounts of offending users, typically within 24 hours.
What you agree not to do
- Don't try to access other users' data.
- Don't reverse-engineer the app or attempt to disrupt the service.
- Don't use CaF for anything illegal.
Service availability
CaF is provided "as is". We try hard to keep it running but can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may pause the service for maintenance with reasonable notice when possible.
Account termination
- You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or attempt to harm the service or other users.
Limitation of liability
CaF is provided without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from using or being unable to use CaF.
Changes to these terms
When we update these terms we bump the date at the top. If a change is material we will notify you inside the app before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved by the courts of England and Wales.
